Is It Ok To Be Here Now?
Do you spend more time thinking of what has already past, or worrying about what might come? How much attention are you paying to now?
Depression lives in the past. Anxiety lives in the future. And if we choose it, this 'now' can be the most freeing moment of all.
But do you know how? Or are you addicted to past and future living?
When better then now to start living in a way that you can be proud of?
When better to take meaningful action in the service of your precious life?
When better then now to truly relax?
For that is where the true power source comes from. Unshakable, meaningful power and intent.
What could possibly get in the way of your knowing this moment?
Wanting to be in control and to be sure you'll know the answers?
Or stories you tell yourself and others that take you away from here?
Are they good stories? Do they nourish you or deplete you?
So my question to you is what could you begin to believe that means you can rest here more fully? What could you know already, in some quiet part of yourself that that could allow you to feel all that you seek?
And what practices could you put in place that support that?
Rest, sweet soul, for you are here already.
